About the city
Budapest is the beautiful capital of Hungary and has around 1.8 million inhabitants. It’s situated in the north of the counrtry and lies at the banks of the Danube river. This river divides the city is in two in two parts; Buda and Pest.
Fun fact: before the year 1873 Buda and Pest were not just different areas of one city, but they were two different cities.

When to go to Budapest
The weather in Budapest is pretty unpredictable. But all seasons have something nice to offer to this city. In winter you can visit the Christmas markets and if you are lucky you will see the city covered with snow. In spring the temperature is nice and soft and you can walk around on foot all day and during summer you have the highest chances of warm weather. And last but not least: in autumn the colours of the trees are just amazing, especially on a warm and sunny day.
